An exaggeration, of course, but the Crutchfield (and later Jorgenson) administration lived by The Plan. This photo, taken about 1960, shows the management team at a pool-side meeting at Mr. Crutchfield's home. Note the symbolic ceramic rooster atop the pool house, crowing silently in tribute to 4XD's humble beginnings in a chicken house.
